Hastings Steakhouse Debuts Weekly Charity Night with Allied Arts

In case you have not yet dined at Hastings Steakhouse located at 312 W. Oklahoma, they are providing a perfect opportunity to enjoy a great dinner while supporting a great cause every Thursday evening from 5pm until 9pm.

Prior to opening Hastings Steakhouse in August 2007, Stephanie Hastings felt God was asking her to “feed my sheep.” Although Hastings Steakhouse does offer delicious and wholesome food including freshly milled whole wheat breads, Scott & Stephanie Hastings feel their mission is much more than physical nourishment. Hastings Steakhouse hopes to help bless their community as well. Beginning February 12th, Hastings will host a weekly “Charity Night” every Thursday. Diners will not only enjoy delicious whole foods, they will have the satisfaction of knowing they are supporting a local charity.

Hastings Steakhouse debuts their first Charity Night on this Thursday, February 12th, with Allied Arts. Allied Arts was founded in 1971 by corporate, community and cultural leaders. As Central Oklahoma's only United Arts Fund, Allied Arts generates awareness of the importance of the arts and mobilizes support for arts and cultural organizations. For 38 years, they have raised more than $37 million to advance the arts and cultural community. The Pollard Theatre is one of Allied Arts 20 member agencies. The Pollard Theatre is a tremendous asset to Guthrie and the state. It is Oklahoma's only professional year-round resident theatre company and was founded with the primary goal of producing a wide variety of quality theatrical experiences for the residents and tourists of Central Oklahoma.

Allied Arts and the Hastings would like you to enjoy dinner at the Steakhouse and then join the Pollard Theatre for “Barefoot in the Park” on February 12th. One of Neil Simon's beloved romantic comedies, “Barefoot in the Park,” is the story of a spanking new lawyer, who recently won his first case, and his young bride, who is as pretty and addled as they come. The couple has recently moved into the new, high rent, six-story walk-up apartment complete with a botched paint job, a snow-leaking skylight, a bedroom too small for their double bed and an outlandish gourmet who lives in a loft on the roof. "A bubbling, rib-tickling comedy," according to The New York Times, “Barefoot in the Park” is a delight for fans of laughter and romance.

Hastings Steakhouse encourages you to mark your calendar for all of February’s Charity Nights. God’s Food Bank will be honored on Feb 19th and the Bethel Foundation on February 26th.
